Hero illustration for the 2023 Lunar New Year campaign for SBS, Australia's multicultural and multilingual broadcaster. This was such a special project as SBS holds such a dear place in my heart, being the media platform that actively supports migrant communities and First Nations Australians through culturally driven broadcasting and unique services.
This illustration, in style and subject, is a visual celebration of cultures, a slice of Australian life, a party that no other Australian media outlet but SBS can throw.
The hero illustration was applied across multiple print and digital mediums, from flags in Sydney‘s CBD, physical activations, and print advertisements in newspapers, to animated end-frames on national television and socials during this festive season.
